The Neon Desert Music Festival will have me sharing the stage with MSTRKRFT, CSS, Designer Drugs, and even the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group (Mars Volta).

DAFT PUNK AND RADIOHEAD LEARNED FROM THE BEST

Check out this awesome video from some of my favorite artists over the pond, Kraftwerk. This track is the title track from their album "The Man Machine" released in 1978.

These guys influenced a lot of big artist I love today like Daft Punk, MSTRKRFT, and Radiohead. If you wanna know where greatness gets inspired you don't have to look much further than Kraftwerk. Germany born and bred, these guys have been killing it since the mid 70's and their music was far ahead of its time.

I hope you enjoy these guys as much as I do. They are definitely more machine than man, and I love it. Check out the remastered version of Kraftwerk's "The Man Machine" on Itunes and enjoy!

ZEALE FREESTYLES LIVE WITH AWOLNATION

For those of you who made it to the show we don't need to say much. ZEALE and AWOLNATION did more than rock a sold out crowd at Austin's Parish, they made a statement that echoed across the blogosphere and social pages of fans that made it into the building.

ZEALE and DJ Rock Well 9000 opened the show with heavy bass and hip-hop beats, pushing the crowd back and forth with sounds that shook the shots off the bar. After performing over fifteen tracks from his latest project, "DISASTERKRFT," ZEALE stepped off the stage leaving the crowd on an unmistakable high.

AWOLNATION immediately took the stage after ZEALE and began rocking the crowd with their monstrous sounds and hypnotizing melodies. Then, just a few songs into their set, the unexpected happened.

AWOL's drummer managed to punch through the kick drum resulting in a sudden halt of the show. The crowd fell silent as AWOL announced they were stepping off stage to replace the drum head.

However, tragedy quickly turned to triumph as ZEALE ran back onto the empty stage with AWOLNATION in tow. The crowd exploded when the members grabbed their instruments for an improvisational groove in unison with a ten minute freestyle attack by ZEALE.

The roof was completely blown off of The Parish. Then, as if planned, the drum was replaced and ZEALE slid off into the black as AWOLNATION hurtled back into their set at full momentum.

Austin-based high-octane rapper ZEALE will launch an EP entitled Robot Radio with an official EP release event Friday, April 30 at Beauty Bar located at 617 East 7th Street. ZEALE's trademark freestyle rap has permeated the Austin music scene and attracted an exponentially increasing fan base not only locally, but nationally and internationally. With an album in the works due out later this year, he will give the public a taste of what to expect by releasing three tracks on the EP. The April 30 launch event for Robot Radio, themed "The Robot Parade," will be hosted by Neiliyo and feature a hefty performance line-up with local bands L.A.X. and GOBI accompanying ZEALE on the bill and DJ sets by Hot Britches! and Richard Gear.

Doors open at 9 p.m., and ZEALE will hit the stage at 12 a.m. Admission to the show will be 5 USD with an RSVP on Do512.com. A digital download of the track "Digital Swagger" will be provided to those who RSVP via Do512.com beginning April 26 through April 30. Coming off a tremendous run of 12 shows during SXSW ZEALE is ready to give back to the town that he calls home. Sharing the stage with acts as diverse as Goodie Mob to Jason Mraz, ZEALE may be the most well rounded MC that Texas has to offer. His new release is no different as his new single "Digital Swagger" is sure to be the summer anthem for the ATX.

Joining him in the procession will be ACL veterans L.A.X. in their final performance before they release their own project later this year. With the world as their dance floor, L.A.X. continues to convert all who listen through a fresh sound and invigorating live performance. GOBI will be rocking socks from the jump. From pitch black rooms to packed with swaying bodies, and the stiff stench of sweat. This band will make sure their is no shortage of dirty dancing. Electro-funktionaire Neiliyo will be hosting the outdoor party. Can you feel the heat?

Not to leave the crowd hangin, the inside of Beauty Bar will be run by the turntable controllers Hot Britches! and DJ Richard Gear. Bring it!

SXSW 2010 kicked off with an explosion at the Heatwave Interactive showcase where I premiered my new music. The show was an amazing start to SXSW. We continued the week performing on over twelve different stages to an international audience of fans and industry professionals. The response was great and we could not be any happier with the outcome. With more fuel added to our fire, my team is set to begin the next phase and we are very excited! The Noise Revival Orchestra is an amazing compilation of musicians rooted in Austin, TX with a very edgy and creative musical sound. They will be debuting music from their new project. This is one of my favorite projects. BoomBox ATX is a complete band featuring live drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and two freestyle rappers. You can hunt for BoomBox ATX in Austin's infamous Lucky Lounge weekly blaring out a blend of hip hop, jazz, blues, funk, and a staggering amount of improvisation every Tuesday night. The band pulls out an attractive number of weekday party goers and students seeking to let their day's agenda go for a involved night of dancing and debauchery!

In ATX two weeks ago the very talented Matisyahu dropped by my show @ the infamous Lucky Lounge. I was pleased to say he is one of the nicest artist to grace the stage with me yet.
